The Happiness Ratio

I met someone in passing earlier this week that shared with me the results of a study which showed that the amount of money one possesses is not in fact a direct ratio to the amount of happiness one experiences in their lifetime. The human factor allows all humans to potentially experience approximately the same levels of happiness in moment to moment experiences no matter what the level of income may be. I did a bit of research online and found a study from 2006 from Princeton University: http://www.princeton.edu/main/news/archive/S15/15/09S18/index.xml?section=topstories

I’d like to take it a step further and say that if you really want to maximize the levels of happiness in your life then show kindness and compassion for your fellow humans, animals and planet.
